Qiongzhu Tample Introduction

Introduction:
Qiongzhu Tample, is located in the Yuan Mountain northwest of Kunming, which is7 km away from Kunming. The peaks of Yuan Mountain is very high; the forest in the mountains is very luxuriant; bamboo makes shadow with its green leaves; and springs flow by singing; white clouds surround the peaks. Ancient temples are hidden in the forest. Qiongzhu Tample is the Buddhist resort in Kunming, and the500 Rohans is also here.
The Kunming annual average temperature is about 15 ℃,in Kunming, the best time to travel is in March.

Qiongzhu Tample Features

Highlight:
Li Kuangxiong, was born in Hechuan County in Sichuan. He and his five students made the 500 Rohan shapes which is lasted 7 years.(Year 1883-1890). It is said that he observed people carefully to collect the facial expressions and the actions as creative materials. Therefore, he can shake off the traditional Buddhist sculpture program. Through religious themes, his works show different classes vividly. And it is successful works of high degree in art sculpture world.
