A famous temple with a long history, the Jing An Temple was built in AD 247 according to legend. In the Yuan Dynasty (1271-1368) there were "Jing An Eight Scenes," which unfortunately, are nowhere to be found now. The buildings are restored to their original appearance after several renovations. In addition to being known for some relics including the Hongwu Bell, made in the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) and stone statues of Buddha of Northern and Southern Dynasties.(420-550), the temple is also famous for its vegetarian cuisine.
